Something sweet...

Today I thought why not share something sweet with you for a change.

Sweet Cherry Muffin

Here is what you will need for a dozen:

100 ml neutral  vegetable cooking oil
200 ml buttermilk
1 Egg
250 g Flour (I used regular unbleached flour)
2 tsp. baking powder
150 g sugar (I used 100 g)
1 pack. Vanilla sugar
1 can or jar pitted cherries (drained and chopped in pieces)( if you do not like cherries you can use any other canned fruit)

Preheat oven to 375 F or 160 C.
In medium bowl whisk oil, buttermilk and egg until well blended. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix and  add to the liquid mixture. Whisk well until smooth and add chopped cherries. Scoop in a paper lined muffin tray and bake for apr.20 minutes.

Enjoy!

I am really not good in writing recipes, lol. Let me know if you need any help.
P.S. : This will be a great treat for Valentine's day.
I got the recipe from one off the German magazines, lol.

  1. It looks so good! I bought some cherries today so I will make some for our Sunday tea! I might even add some chocolate chips to it? Did the kids like them? And what about Al?
